2009 CAMP INFORMATION NOTE: If printing brochure & application from the Internet, please fill out and mail the PRINTER FRIENDLY PDF. REGISTER ONLINE! This link is for Coaches or Team Contacts ONLY. This registration only serves to produce a team roster for the camp administrators. Campers should not fill out a team roster. Coaches - Once you fill out a team roster- please direct your campers to this webpage where they will click on "register as an individual" link below. How do I know my players will be on the same team? Players who have the same high school listed, the same session chosen, and their name is on the roster that you created will placed on the same team. If you have more than 20 players attending it is recommended that you split them into 2 team rosters so they can get the most playing time. Reminder - processing fee's will occur for players who register online. You can also have each player fill out the application (see PDF above), then collect the teams applications and checks and mail them to the camp office with a team roster (found on the PDF application). For Individual players (including those that are associated with a team that is attending Session 1,2, or 3). Player's affiliated with a team that is attending, make sure to put your high school name and the correct session your team will be attending when registering. This will insure you are all put on the same team.

SUMMER 2009 SESSIONS: Learn from the best! Maryland head coach Missy Meharg led the Terrapins to five NCAA titles in her 20-plus year career, including three crowns in four years from 2005-08. She can help field hockey players improve their skills at the Missy Meharg School of Hockey, brought to you by Advanced Play, Inc. Two sessions will be held at the University of Maryland's state-of-the-art Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex. One session will also take place on the campus of McDaniel College in Westminster, Md., which offers a variety of exceptional playing surfaces. Click on the link above to download a camp brochure. CAMP INFORMATION ONLY online registrations will be accepted after JULY 8, 2009. Mailed applications will NOT be processed after July 8, 2009. DEPOSIT: A non-refundable deposit of $260 must accompany the enclosed application to secure a registration spot. Upon receipt of the deposit and application form, campers will be sent confirmation and additional
camp materials. TEAM SESSION (July 16-19): * OPEN* ADVANCED INDIVIDUAL/TEAM SESSION (July 19-22 and July 25-28): *OPEN* CAMP DIRECTOR MISSY MEHARG The 21-year head coach has directed the Terrapins to five NCAA titles and 11 national semifinal appearances. Her Terrapins have won seven Atlantic Coast Conference championships, including the 2008 title. She has coached 78 All-Americans and nearly 200 Academic Honor Roll student-athletes. Meharg has developed 35 players that have competed on the international stage, including 13 U.S. National Team members and four that currently compete at the highest level for the Stars & Stripes. Meharg has been named the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Coach of the Year seven times and the ACC Coach of the Year four times as well. She has been named Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year 12 times during her remarkable career. Meharg is an accomplished and experienced international coach as well. She was a member of the U.S. National Team's coaching staff from 1993-97, including an appearance in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, the 1994 World Cup in Dublin and the 1995 Pan American games in Argentina. In 1994 and 1995 she served as the coach of the U.S. Under-21 team. Meharg was a two-time All-America forward at the University of Delaware and enjoyed an impressive playing career with the U.S. National Team from 1985-91. During that time she was a member of the 1986 World Cup team and an alternate to the 1987 Pan American and 1988 Olympic teams. She finished her playing career as a member of the 1991 Pan Am team and the 1991 U.S. squad that unfortunately missed qualifying for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
