Before Maryland: A three-year all-county and all-conference selection at Leonardtown High School the St. Mary's Athletic Conference (SMAC) Rookie of the Year as a freshman and the SMAC Player of the Year as a senior Leonardtown won the state title her sophomore year and the county title her junior year led the SMAC with 15 goals as a senior scored 22 goals her junior year.
