"Since Nicole's been at Maryland, she's been the finisher. Nicole has evolved and developed into a playmaker. She is still the finisher, making very challenging shots look very simple in the end. But she is a much more mature player and is willing to do that work, including strength and conditioning. It is a great bonus for us."

Two-time participant in the National Futures Tournament ... named to 2006 U.S. Junior National Team pool ... participated in the 2008 USFHA National Championship as a member of the Maryland Thundersticks.
As a sophomore in 2007
Earned first team NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Region honors for the second-straight year ... opened the season scoring at least a goal in the first five games and in seven of the first eight games ... in the season opener, knocked in a pair of goals against Central Michigan (Aug. 26), en route to 14 goals on the season, which tied for second on the team ... scored twice in the 3-2 win over #12 Michigan (Sept. 2) ... tallied goals in three-consecutive games from Sept. 29-Oct. 6, which included two ACC contests ... second on the team in game-winning goals with four ... slammed in the game-winner in back-to-back games at Northwestern (Aug. 27) and at #6 Old Dominion (Aug. 31) ... also responsible for the game-winning tally in the conference victory over #19 Virginia, 4-0 (Sept. 29) ... came up with the deciding tally against the #10 Lady Monarchs, once again, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament (Nov. 10) ... averaged 0.67 goals per game, which ranked in a tie for 21st in the nation, also helping the Maryland attack rank third with a 3.65 scoring average and a 3.67 goals per game average ... scoring prowess also contributed to Maryland's second-ranked scoring margin (+2.75 goals per game).
As a freshman in 2006
The first freshman since 2003 to garner All-America nods, earning a spot on the third team ... voted ACC Rookie of the Year ... also garnered All-ACC and Mid-Atlantic first team All-Region honors ... ACC Player of the Week three times, the only player in the conference to receive the weekly award multiple times ... tabbed a third team All-American by www.womensfieldhockey.com and also a three-time National Rookie of the Week by the same publication ... earned conference and national weekly honors after notching the game-winning goal at #2 Wake Forest (Sept. 23) ... again received both weekly recognitions the following week after tallying two goals at #8 Virginia (Sept. 29), followed by scoring the overtime goal vs. #20 Michigan (Oct. 1) ... two weeks later, was tabbed with the weekly nods after scoring two of Maryland's four goals at Princeton on national television, then knocking in the only score at #3 Old Dominion (Oct. 14) ... the team leader with 15 goals and 33 assists, as the offense ranked third in the country scoring margin (+2.45), and 13th in scoring average (3.15) and goals per game (3.24) ... also tied for the team lead with five game winners ... played in all 25 games, making her first-career start at Stanford (Aug. 27) ... was a starter in the last 21 games of the season and 23 overall.

A three-sport athlete at Washington Township High, earning three letters in field hockey ... as a senior, led the Minutemaids to a 16-4-1 record and an Olympic American Conference championship title ... named first team All-Group IV, first team all-conference, first team All-Gloucester County, first team All-South Jersey, first team all-area in after her final campaign ... also first team all-conference, first team All-Group IV and second team All-South Jersey as a junior ... scored a school-record 64 career goals ... selected Sportstrak Athlete of the Week ... member of the Spirit of USA Club team ... also lettered in basketball once and three times in lacrosse ... was only the seventh girls lacrosse player in school history to score 100-career goals ...
