Before Maryland: Graduated from Glenelg High School in Glenelg, Md. in 2004...four year letter winner in Cheerleading...also a four time letter winner in field hockey and lacrosse...vice president of SGA and National Honors Society...earned scholar athlete award.
Personal: Megan Silas...born in Baltimore, Md....daughter of Kathy and Guy Silas...has two younger brothers, Michael and Patrick... choose Maryland for its cheerleading and business programs as well as because of family tradition...her parents were married in the chapel...majoring in business.
