Kids Day Kids, it's your turn to run the show! Celebrate being a kid with the Terps - get your face painted, a picture with Testudo, and win the chance to meet the team! Don't miss out on the fun - it's good to be a kid! Dancing with the Terp Stars The Maryland Cheerleading and Dance team will host its first ever "Dancing with the Terp Stars", a dance and cheer clinic held in the Comcast Center Auxiliary Gym prior to the game. Participants will get the opportunity to perform on the court during the game and take a picture with the Dance and Cheer team on the court at the end of the game! Hoops and Heels Networking Event The Maryland Terrapins have teamed up with the Washington Mystics in celebration of National Women in Sports Day to host a networking event for business women before the game. Mix and mingle with the ladies behind the Maryland athletic department and the Washington Mystics as well other female sport luminaries and get a chance to hear about their experiences as women in the world of sports. For only $20, get a ticket to the Maryland game, a voucher for tickets to a 2009 Mystics game, and participate in a charity auction to benefit the National Girls and Women in Sports Foundation. Art Contest Maryland will host its first ever "Maryland Masterpiece" Art Show to showcase Maryland themed art from various local schools, grades K-12. On Friday, February 27, the University of Maryland and the American Cancer Society will unite to support Daffodil Days, a fund-raising initiative to help patients and families in their battle with cancer. For every $5 ticket purchased online, $3 will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Only tickets purchased online are valid for this promotion.
