Maryland women's basketball head coach Brenda Frese delivered twins on Sunday morning

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland women's basketball head coach Brenda Frese gave birth to twin boys on Sunday morning at a Maryland area hospital. The twins are the first children for Frese and her husband, Mark Thomas.

Markus William was born at 10:21 a.m. and weighed five pounds, five ounces and measured 18.5 inches long. Tyler Joseph was born 30 minutes later and weighed six pounds and 12 ounces, while measuring 19.25 inches. Frese, 37, and babies are healthy and doing well.

Frese has been at the Maryland helm for six years. Her plans to return to the sideline will be announced at a later date.
