"Probably the biggest personality on the team. She is so much fun and brilliant with people. Yemi was baptized by fire last year. I'm not sure it would've been possible for her to grasp the intenstity of playing college basketball until she went through it. Despite that, she made some huge contributions at key moments. We're looking forward to more of that this year."

Made debut November 16 against Delaware State, scoring six points and grabbing seven rebounds, made four of six free throws with four offensive rebounds ... Five rebounds in only six minutes against James Madison ... Recorded three steals in 13 minutes against Illinois ... Knocked in a free throw and pulled down three rebounds in the win over #7/8 Duke ... Pulled down a rebound and scored a key basket in the ACC Championship Game victory over #8/10 Duke ... A two-year member and two-year starter of the Wandsworth Sting, south London's area club team ... helped the Sting to the semifinals of England's national tournament in 2008 ... Wandsworth was in the tournament for the first time in nine years ... captain of
the team in her final season ... also played in the London Youth Games twice with Wandsworth Club ... played in the Under-20 women's European Championship in Poland during the summer of 2008, playing for Great Britain, during the summer of 2008 ... graduated from Burntwood Girls School in May 2008.

What is your number one goal at Maryland?
My number one goal here at Maryland is to earn a good education and to improve my basketball skills. As I improve I look forward to contributing and winning more championships.
Name something people do not know about you.
Some things that most people don't know about me is that I danced for eight years and I was in musical theater for five years.
What is your favorite thing to do besides play basketball?
So my favorite things to do are eat, write, eat, read, eat, and dance and my favorite food is chicken.
What have you experienced since coming to the U.S.?
Since I've been here in the states, I've had many new experiences. I just recently was in Washington D.C. and watched my very first WNBA game that was so much fun. While I'm here at Maryland I look forward to having many more fun experiences.
What is your number one goal at Maryland?
In addition to earning a great education and winning a championship, or two, maybe three, possibly four, I really look forward to meeting great new people and stablishing great friendships for life.
