Before Maryland: Competed for Fame All Stars Super Seniors...competed there for seven years...team competed at the USASF World Championships from 2006-2011...team finished sixth at Worlds in 2010 and 2011 and won numerous national titles...cheered for years on Chesapeake's Varsity squad...team won Districts in 2007 and finished top four the other three years...also competed for school's gymnastics team for two years.

Personal: Alexis Yuki Eng...parents are Edward and Noni Eng...has one sister, Ashley, who cheers at Virginia Tech, and a younger brother, Brandon...father played college baseball at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy...member of the National Honor Society in high school...served as junior class president...came to Maryland for the top program in the world and great academics on a great campus atmosphere...would love to start a retail business with her sister one day...intends to study business.
