2008 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran all six events of the season... first Terrapin runner to compete at the NCAA Cross Country Nationals in recent memory and finished in 125th place (31:04.9 over the 10K) among an elite field of more than 250 runners at the 2008 NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Championships...first Terp over the line and placed tenth overall at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional with a stellar 10K clocking of 32:22...placed 23rd at the ACC Championships with a time of 25:14.7 in the 8K... finished first at the Mount St. Mary's Duals with a time of 16:11.6 over the 5K...went 24:51.3 to finish second at the Navy Invitational in the 8K and placed third at the Princeton Invitational with a time of 24:13.9 2007 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran two events for Maryland... Terps' leading finisher at the Navy Invitational, placing 10th with an 8K clocking of 24:55.4... also competed at the ACC Championships, finishing 68th overall and seventh on the team with a time of 26:15.4 over Virginia's 8K course. BEFORE MARYLAND: Honorable mention all-state performer by Denver Post in cross country at Heritage HS... Finished seventh individually in 2006 Colorado State High School Cross Country Championships with mark of 16:30.2... Finished 30th in the 2006 Foot Locker Regional Cross Country Championships in a 320-runner field... Went 9:46.79 to finish second in the 3,200 at the Littleton Invitational outdoor meet in Spring 2007. |
