2008 CROSS COUNTRY: First Terp on team to cross the line at the Princeton Invitational, placed second individually running 24:13.9 over 5K... Terps' top finisher at the ACC Championships, placing 19th overall (25:08.7)...placed 27th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in the 2M...finished the 10K with a time of 33:55 to place 75th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional... second Terp to the line and 6th overall at the Navy Invitational (25:10.1 over 8K) and first on the team to finish at the George Mason Invitational, fifth overall (24:57). 2007 CROSS COUNTRY: Earned All-Region recognition with a 23rd-place finish individually at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional hosted by Lehigh... Led Maryland in the final three races of the season, including the regional in which he ran 30:58 over 10K course... Terps' top finisher at the ACC Championships, placing 24th overall with 24:56.7 mark over 8K course at Virginia... Led Maryland with a sixth-place finish at 25:40.3 over 5 miles as Terrapins won the team title at the Leopard Invitational at Lafayette... Second Terp to the line and 23rd overall at the Navy Invitational (25:22.1 over 8K). 2007 OUTDOOR TRACK: Placed seventh in the 3,000 steeplechase at the USATF Junior Nationals in Indianapolis, finishing in 9:31.32... Posted the Terps' top five times in the 3,000-meter steeplechase... had a time of 9:28.59 and placed 13th at the Duke Asics Invitational... finished third in the event at the Onesty/Abramson Invitational with a time of 9:28.88... placed 13th at the ACC Championships with a time of 9:31.99... also competed in the 1,500 meters at the Patriot Open where he finished tenth with a time of 4:04.42. 2007 INDOOR TRACK: Did not compete. 2006 CROSS COUNTRY: The only Terp to finish in the top three on the team in every event... placed first among Terps at the season ending IC4A Championships, and 38th overall with a time of 26:09.4... finished second at the Great Meadows Invitational (11th overall, 22:34.7), the Spiked Shoe Invitational (27th overall, 26:56.0), the Tribe Invitational (30th overall, 25:32.0), and the NCAA Regionals (57th overall, 32:20.2)... placed third on the team in both the Chile Pepper Invitational and the ACC Championships. BEFORE MARYLAND: Cross country captain 2004-05... member of the Saratoga Springs, N.Y., State and Nike Team Nationals Championship cross country team in 2005... was a Nike Indoor National Champion in the distance medley relay and a Nike Outdoor National Champion in the 2,000-meter steeplechase in 2006... high school coaches were Art & Linda Kranick... top pre-college marks were 9:11 in 3,000 steeplechase, 4:14.7 indoors in the mile.
