Before Maryland: Wrestled at Massapequa High School...named a Greco Roman all-american in 2011 and finished fifth at the New York state tournament...earned all-county status from 2009-2011...named all-state and all-conference. Personal: Son of Dan Wetzel and Seana Coleman...father wrestled at Central Connecticut State University...graduated with a 3.16 GPA and plans to major in education.
