As a Freshman (2010-11): Earned the starting spot at 125 pounds as a true freshman...went 17-13 on the season...placed third at the ACC Tournament after pinning NC State's Mike Moreno in 2:09 in the consolation finals. Before Maryland: Compiled a 214-21 record in an illustrious career at Colonial Forge High School in Virginia ... a four-time district and region champions, as well as a four-time state placer ... won the state title at 119 pounds as a senior in 2009 ... spent the 2009-10 season at Navy Prep School where he went 22-0 and claimed the NCWA National Championship.
