As a Redshirt Freshman (2010-11): Went 10-6 at 157 pounds...won individual title at Ursinus Fall Brawl...went undefeated in matches decided by major decision (2-0), pins (1-0) and overtime (1-0). As a Freshman (2009-10): Served a redshirt season ... went 12-16 at 157 pounds in open competition. Before Maryland: Lettered four years in wrestling for the Patriots...2009 sectional and district champion...four-time all-league selection. Personal: Son of Sergio and Jo Anne DeRobertis...has two sisters, Adrienna and Caroline...finished high school with 3.4 GPA...favorite athlete is Tiger Woods...also recruited by Virginia Tech...enrolled in the College of Letters & Sciences.
