COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's tennis team will be back in action Friday as the Terps travel to the UVa Fall Classic in Charlottesville, Va. The tournament consists of six singles and doubles draws. The Terrapins will enter one player in each singles draw and one doubles team in three of the doubles brackets.

For Maryland, the tournament will kick-off at 9 a.m. Friday in the doubles draw. Senior Mathias Sarrazin and junior David Nguyen will face Penn State's Bryan Welnetz and Russell Bader in the black draw. In the gold bracket, senior Sergio Wyss and sophomore Jan Surovic will meet Alejandro Argente and Filip Svensson of VCU. First round doubles competition will conclude for the day with juniors Tommy Laine and Jesse Kiuru facing off against East Tennessee State's Juan Ramirez and Rogerio Riberio in the red draw.

In singles action, Surovic meets Norfolk State's Ben Marks in the blue draw. In the orange draw, Sarrazin plays Ben Hoogland of William and Mary. Wyss is the second seed in the white bracket. The Zurich, Switzerland, native faces Alex Metzner of Radford. Nguyen plays Virginia Tech's Trpimir Kujundzic in the black draw. In the gold bracket, Laine meets Parul Verma of Eastern Kentucky, and Kiuru closes out first round singles action against Robert Pietrucha of William and Mary in the red bracket.
