Terps Men's Tennis Has Another Solid Day at Navy Invitational
Sept. 13, 2008 ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Seniors Boris Fetbroyt and Andrew Orban won at both singles and doubles to highlight the play of the Maryland men's tennis team at Saturday's Navy Invitational. The non-team scored event features players from Richmond, Navy, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Playing at No. 1 singles Orban defeated Bradwin Williams of Arkansas 7-5, 6-2 and Fetbroyt followed up with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Matt Walters of Arkansas at the No. 5 position. The Fetbroyt-Orban duo also defeated Oklahoma's Ionut Beleleu and George Chanturia 8-5 at the No. 1 doubles. In addition, the Terps picked up singles victories from senior Nickolai Nielsen and freshmen Mattias Sarrazin and Jonathan Ribaste. The three-day tournament concludes Sunday when the Terps and the host Midshipmen hit the court at 2 p.m. The Terps won 11 of their 12 matches during Friday's opening day of action. 2008 Navy InvitationalSaturday, Sept. 13Day Two, Annapolis, Md.
