Bottom half of Maryland's lineup secures vital conference victory

As a Junior (2011-12): Became an important piece of the Terps' singles lineup...recorded 10 wins playing primarily at the No. 3 position...had the clinching win over North Carolina's Esben Hess-Olesen in the Terps' upset of the 18th-ranked Tar Heels (4/15)...defeated Boston College's Billy Grokenberger in straight sets to help Maryland to a 6-1 victory over the Eagles (3/16).

As a Sophomore (2010-11): A solid second-year player who played in all 11 conferences matches ... won 19 singles matches including four in conference ... defeated 29th-ranked Michigan's Barrett Franks 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 en route to the Terps first-round NCAA upset over the Wolverines (May 13) ... recorded 11 tournament wins ... knocked off 105th-ranked Iain Atkinson of No.34 Wake Forest 6-4, 6-4 as the Terps nearly defeated the Demon Deacons (April 17) ... saw limited action in doubles ... won five doubles matches in tournament play.

As a Freshman (2009-10): Ranked second on the team with 18 singles victories, including 14 in a dual-match setting ... also had a team-high four ACC singles wins, which included a 6-0, 0-6, 6-3 upset of 106th-ranked Brennan Boyajian which nearly enabled the Terps to knock off No. 18 UNC (March 26) ... five of his seven singles losses in conference play came vs. nationally-ranked foes ... ranked second on the team with 16 doubles wins, including a team-high four in league action ... joined Laine to win three of their final six doubles matches, all against ranked teams.

At The German School of Washington: Made Top 50 18's USTA ... ranked No. 7 in the Mid-Atlantic region.
