As a Redshirt Freshman (2008-09 at LSU): Made the SEC Academic Honor Roll ... earned his first collegiate singles win, downing James Crawford of Tennessee Tech 6-2, 7-5 at the ITA Southeast Regional (Oct. 16-19) ... won in both singles and doubles at the Auburn Spring Classic (Jan. 23-25).

As a Freshman (2007-08 at LSU): Served a redshirt season.

At Centennial High School: A two-time county champion and two-time regional champion ... 2004 Gatorade Rookie of the Year ... named Howard County Player of the Year twice and made the Washington Post All-Metropolitan team twice (2005 & 2007) ... won 2005 All-Metropolitan Player of the Year ... finished among the top three singles players in the state three times (second in 2004; third in 2005; third in 2007) ... coached by Gene Vanderpool.
