Results

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Maryland men's swimming and diving team dropped a meet at Navy, 159-111, in Annapolis on Tuesday.

Despite the loss at the short course event, the Terps (3-4) put up some solid performances on the day. Eric Cullen continued his dominance in the 100 breast, winning with a time of 1:03.15. Cullen also took second in the 200 breast (2:19.33) after being topped by teammate Andy Dilz, who captured the race (2:17.60). Chris Rouchard placed second in the 400 free (4:00.54) while freshman Sean Stewart won the 100 fly (56.49).

Navy, which remained undefeated following the meet, secured the top times in both relays.

Maryland will turn its focus to its training trip following final exams before returning to competition Jan. 16-17 against Villanova, Pittsburgh and Penn State at the Eppley Recreation Natatorium.
