2008 BEIJING OLYMPIC TRIALS COMPETITOR
As a Junior (2010-11): Maryland's best competitor in the 100 and 200 fly, racking up top team times in both...also third best time in the 500 free...finished 33rd in the 500 free (4:35.26) at the ACC Championships...placed 20th in the 100 fly (48.81)...part of eighth place 400 medley relay (3:16.52) that racked up an NCAA B-cut mark...registered at ninth place showing in the 200 fly (1:46.63), also a B-cut time...fourth place in the 100 fly and eighth in the 500 free at the Terp Cup.. member of third place 400 medley relay...captured 200 fly. As a Sophomore (2009-10): Boasted the second best time on the team in the 200 fly (1:47.67) and third in the 100 fly (49.37)...point scorer at ACC Championships with a 13th place finish in the 200 fly (1:48.68)...also 29th in the prelims of the 100 fly...helped guide Maryland to the 2009 Terrapin Cup title as a member of the first place 200 free relay (1:22.34) and the second place 800 free relay (6:43.50)...captured the 200 fly and took second in the 100 fly (49.85) and touched the wall 11th in the 50 free (21.35). As a Freshman (2008-09): Set career bests at the ACC Championships in the 500 free (4:34.41), 100 fly (49.47), and 200 fly (1:46.72)...member of the seventh-place 800 free relay team (6:34.02) at the ACC Championships and also scored points individually after finishing tenth in the 200 fly...took second in the 200 fly (1:49.29) and 13th in the 100 fly (50.44) at the Terrapin Cup and was a member of the seventh-place 200 free relay team (1:25.90) and the seventh-place 800 free relay team (6:53.65).
Before Maryland: Metropolitan champion in the 100 and 200 freestyle and captured the Montgomery County championship in the 50 and 500 free in 2008...named a scholar-athlete while at Wootton High School...also member of Rockville Montgomery Swim Club.
