As a Freshman(2007-08): Finished a season-best fourth against UMBC in the 200-yard backstroke (2:00.04)...cracked the two-minute mark in the same event in a time trial in the ACC Championships (1:51.07)...also swam career-best times at ACC Time Trial in 100 backstroke (52.56) and 100 butterfly (53.72).

Before Maryland: Eight-time YMCA All-American ... was a third-place finisher in the 200-yard butterfly at the 2006 YMCA Long Course Nationals ... nine-time YMCA New York State Champion ... a Junior National Qualifier in the 200 fly ... honor roll student at Queensbury High School ... swam for the Schenectady Swim Club.
