As a Junior (2007-08): Recorded the top times for Maryland in the 100-yard breaststroke (55.63) and 200 breaststroke (2:00.83)...his top time in the 100 breaststroke at the LCQ was an NCAA B-cut mark...finished second in the Terrapin Cup in the 100 breast (56.54) and fourth in the 200 breast (2:03.75)...won the 100 breast (57.49) and 200 breast (2:08.02) v. Duke...top three in 100 breast v. Johns Hopkins and NC State...won the 200 breast in dual meets v. Johns Hopkins and UMBC...member of seventh-place 200 medley relay team that registered an NCAA B-cut time and the first place 400 medley relay at the Terrapin Cup...scored 18 points for the Terps at the ACC Championships with top ten finishes in the 100 and 200 breaststroke...member of school-record and NCAA B-cut 200 medley relay that placed seventh at the ACCs.
As a Sophomore (2006-07): Opened the season as a member of the first-place 200-yard medley relay team (1:33.80), won the 100 breaststroke (59.01), and placed third in the 200 individual medley (1:59.85) against Johns Hopkins at home ... finished third in the 100 breast (1:00.05), fourth in the 200 breast (2:11.23), and 10th in the 200 individual medley (2:03.23) against Duke and NC State ... qualified for the bonus consolation final in the 100 breast and finished 18th overall (58.68) at the Terrapin Cup ... placed 25th in the 200 breast (2:13.10), 35th in the 200 IM (1:59.77), and was a member of the seventh-place 200 medley relay team (1:33.75) at Terp Cup ... won the 200 breast (2:09.14), finished fifth in the 200 IM (2:01.41), and was a member of the third-place 400 medley relay team (3:30.18) against Western Kentucky ... placed fourth in the 400 IM (4:21.77) at West Virginia ... member of the first-place 400 medley relay team (3:29.03), 400 IM relay team (3:40.38), and 200 breast relay team (1:50.56) at the FIU Invitational ... finished second in the 200 IM (1:58.49), fourth in the 100 breast (58.13), fourth in the 200 breast (2:09.47), fifth in the 100 fly (52.69), and also helped the 200 medley relay team (1:32.74) and 400 medley relay team (3:29.06) to second place against Pittsburgh and Villanova ... had a season-best time in the 100 fly (52.62) to finish fifth, and was a member of the first-place 200 medley relay team (1:32.49) at North Carolina ... finished first in the 200 breast (2:08.78), second in the 200 IM (1:58.70), and swam the second leg for the first-place 200 medley relay team (1:32.50) at Virginia ... point scorer in the 100 breast and 200 breast for Maryland at the ACC Championships ... swam a career-best time in the consolation final of the 100 breast to finish 12th (56.44) ... time of 56.44 in the 100 breast at ACCs was Maryland's fastest time of the season in the event ... was a consolation finalist in the 200 breast, finishing 13th overall (2:03.21) after setting a career-best time of 2:03.16 in the prelim of the event at ACCs ... also set a career best in the 200 IM (1:52.83) at ACCs to finish 27th ... swam the second leg for the fourth-place 400 medley relay team (3:18.70) at ACCs.
As a Freshman (2005-06): Part of the sixth-place 200-yard medley relay team at the 2006 ACC Championships (1:30.21) ... finished 36th overall in the 200 IM at ACCs (1:55.00) ... set a personal record in the 100 breast at ACCs, swimming a 56.66 to finish 15th overall ... also finished 15th in the 200 breast (2:04.43) at ACCs.
Before Maryland: Captain of the CATY Swim Team ... two-time High School All-American ... National Catholic School Champion in the 100 breast and 200 IM ... YMCA National qualifier for the past six years.
