Maryland Men's Soccer Springs Into Action
March 6, 2001 College Park, Md. - The Maryland men's soccer team has announced its spring schedule, which begins this Saturday, March 10, against DC United at RFK Stadium at noon. The Terps have five games and a tournament on their schedule as it stands right now, with another game possibly to be added against a youth national or foreign touring team as the spring moves along. Maryland meets DC United for the second consecutive spring, but is not in action again until travelling to ACC rival Virginia on Wednesday, April 4 for a 7 p.m. game. The Terps will then spend the day on Saturday, April 7 at Princeton for a tournament. Maryland will meet the host Tigers, as well as Ivy-Leaguer Penn, and the BIG EAST's own Seton Hall. April 18 gives the Terps faithful their first spring look at Maryland's team at Ludwig Field. That evening at 7:30 p.m., Maryland hosts the Hershey Wildcats in the only spring game slated in College Park so far, with the exception of the Alumni Game. The Terrapins welcome back their former players for a 3 p.m. tilt on Saturday, April 21 at Ludwig Field. The Terps wrap-up their spring schedule against St. John's on April 28 at noon in Kirkwood, Del.
