COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's soccer team will be offering a FREE coaching clinic Sunday, Feb. 21 at the University's indoor practice bubble.

The free clinic is open to all youth coaches and will run from 3-6 p.m.

Coaches have the opportunity to watch the men's soccer team go through three 45-minute sessions of technical/functional training sessions and small group tactics. A question and answer session will follow the training demonstration.

"We are thrilled to be hosting this free coaching clinic to broaden Maryland's reach into the soccer community and enrich the game of soccer throughout the area," head coach Sasho Cirovski said. "This is merely the beginning of our outreach plans for this spring and beyond."

To register for the free clinic on Feb. 21, send an e-mail to mrburke@umd.edu and include coach's name, club affiliation, phone number and e-mail address.

More details will be announced soon for the team's plans to visit area clubs and participate in player clinics later this spring. For more information on these opportunities and for all coaches looking for summer camp options for their players, please visit www.marylandsoccercamp.com.

The Indoor Practice Facility is located just off campus on University Boulevard, next to the University of Maryland Golf Course.
