National Champion Terps Soccer to Host Celebration Banquet Jan. 31

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Fresh off its second national championship in four years, the University of Maryland men's soccer program is hosting a celebration lunch Saturday, Jan. 31 starting at 1 p.m. in Heritage Hall at the Comcast Center.

Festivities begin with a lunch from 1 - 3 p.m. and followed by a championship reception from 4 - 6 p.m. The celebration will conclude with the 2008 NCAA national champion Terps being announced at halftime of the Maryland/Miami men's basketball contest, which begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets for this exciting event are $100 and include a ticket to the basketball game and a Maryland scarf. Business attire is recommended and all proceeds go to the Friends of Maryland Soccer account.

PARKING ALERT
Lot 4b will be free for the banquet but all vehicles must be cleared out of the lot by 3:30. Those attending the banquet and basketball game will need to move their vehicles to Regent's Drive Parking Garage or Lot 1. Lot 1 offers a shuttle to the Comcast Center.
