As a Freshman in 2009: All-ACC Freshman Team selection...one of only three players to start and play in all 23 matches...steady as a rock in the backline, helping the Terps secure nine shutouts in the 2009 campaign...second on the team in minutes played (2,003)...netted his first career goal against Duquesne (9/15)....defensively, helped shutout then- No. 2 North Carolina in front of a Ludwig Field-record crowd of 6,946 (9/25)...also aided the Terrapin defense in a shutout of eventual national champion Virginia (10/31).

Before Maryland: Member of US U-18 National Team Pool...member of D.C. United U-18 Academy...scored ten goals and dished out five assists for the 2007 Maryland State Champion Barons... Washington Post All-Met Second Team in 2007 and First Team All-Gazette in 2007 and 2008...2003 Junior Olympic gold medalist in the pentathlon and earned a silver in the 1500m.
