Maryland and the ACC Championship
Maryland boasts more ACC championships than any other school in the conference, tallying 21 since entering the league in 1953.
The Terps won a massive 15 consecutive titles under long-time coach Doyle Royal from 1953-1968.
Sasho Cirovski has led the Terps to five ACC tournament crowns (1996, 2002, 2008, 2010, 2012) since the championship was determined by tournament format in 1987.
Maryland defeated North Carolina in front of nearly 10,000 fans at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown to win the 2012 title.
