2008: The Gold Standard
The Terps established the ‘Gold Standard’ in 2008, winning the program’s third national championship and their second in a mere four seasons. 

Maryland added an ACC Tournament title to its litany of accomplishments in 2008, solidifying three consecutive shutouts to capture the toughest conference championship in the nation.  The squad racked up a school-record 23 wins and 15 shutouts while concluding the season with a 16-game winning streak.
