LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Maryland men's track team opens the 2000-2001 indoor track season at Bucknell University this Saturday, Dec. 2.

Last year, The Terps opened the indoor season at Bucknell as well. Highlighting last year's action: Junior Phillip Barrett, Jr. (Upper Marlboro, Md.) placed second in the 55 hurdles and first in the consolation final of the 55, sophomore Derrick Hill (Clinton, Md.) finished first in the 400 with a time of 51.10, and senior Cedrick Rogers (Fort Wayne, Ind.) placed third in the long jump with a distance of 23-1.

Following the meet at Bucknell, Maryland will have over a month off before hosting a meet at the Prince George's complex on Jan. 7.
