Men's Track Season Outlook 1998Dec. 4, 1997 COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The men's track & field team is looking forward to a successful indoor and outdoor season with the return of several athletes that should make a great impact. Carter Bova will be one to watch in the 400IH and 400m race. He was also part of the 4x400m relay team that placed third in the conference. All-East hurdler Asa Heath expects to leap to new heights in the hurdles. Jason Joubert is a former walk-on who had an outstanding freshman year, racking up seven top three finishes and qualifying for IC4A competition in the 400m. Ed Hogan led the cross country team all season and is expected to go the distance in track & field, as well. Football player Jamie Wu will utilize his strength once again, throwing the shot put. |
