GREENSBORO, N.C. - Seven members of the University of Maryland men's lacrosse team were named to the 2009 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic team as announced by Commissioner John D. Swofford. Virginia senior Danny Glading, a senior English major, was named the conference's men's lacrosse scholar athlete of the year. Fourteen (14) members of the 2009 squad were repeat honorees from last year's All-ACC Academic team. Duke placed 12 student-athletes on the team for the third consecutive year. Maryland followed with its seven honorees, while Virginia and North Carolina had four and five, respectively. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career. 2009 All-ACC Academic Men's Lacrosse Team
