Before Maryland: Lettered in lacrosse and football for two seasons at Northport High School in Northport, N.Y. ... helped the Tigers to the Suffolk County and Long Island championships as a senior ... also won both titles along with the state crown as a junior in 2001 ... on the football field was named all-division as a senior.
