2012 Season Preview

As a senior (2011): Recipient of the Peter Worstell Comeback Player of the Year Award ... one goal and two groundballs in 16-4 win over Detroit Mercy (2/19) ... made his second career start in 12-8 win over Bellarmine (3/7) ... one assist and one groundball in 15-6 win over UMBC (3/18) ... one groundball in 11-4 win over St. Joseph's (3/20) ... saw late time in 13-6 win at No. 8 seed North Carolina (5/15) in the first round of the NCAA tournament ... saw late time, helping run out the clock, in 9-4 win over No. 5 Duke (5/28) in the semifinals of the NCAA tournament.

As a redshirt junior (2010): Earned his first assist since March 13, 2007 in 13-7 win at UMBC (3/20) ... saw late time and helped run out the clock, evading double-teams, in 11-9 win over Navy (4/10) ... saw late time to help run out the clock in 10-9 win over No. 16 Johns Hopkins (4/17) ... scored his first goal in more than three years in 13-5 win over No. 3 North Carolina (4/23) in the ACC semifinals ... also had three groundballs vs. the Tar Heels ... scored the final goal in 17-4 win over Fairfield (5/1) ... also had two groundballs in his first career start ... two groundballs in 18-10 win vs. Colgate (5/8).

As a sophomore & junior (2008 & 2009): Did not compete after voluntarily leaving the team to concentrate on academics.

As a freshman (2007): Made his college debut in 11-6 season-opening win over Bellarmine (2/17) ... picked up two groundballs in 16-7 win over Vermont (2/20) ... earned his first career point by assisting on Nick Ward's goal in 13-4 win over Lafayette (3/13) ... scored his first career goal in 18-3 win over Mount St. Mary's (3/20) ... also picked up a groundball and caused a turnover vs. the Mount ... scored a goal and caused a turnover in 14-10 win at Penn (4/21).

Before Maryland: 2006 honorable mention All-Met by the Washington Post ... two-time All-IAC selection ... selected to play in the 2006 Maryland Senior All-Star Game ... Maryland Free State team selection in 2005 ... three-year letter winner for Coach Kevin Giblin at Georgetown Prep ... helped lead the 2006 Lil' Hoyas to a perfect 22-0 season and a No. 1 National ranking by Inside Lacrosse ... also helped lead Prep to a share of the 2005 IAC Championship and a No. 1 ranking in the Washington Post ... team captain and Iron Hoya honoree as a senior ... scored 55 goals and added 83 assists for 138 career points ... also picked up 165 groundballs in his three seasons ...
