As a junior (2006): Saw extensive time in 14-2 win over Dartmouth (3/21).

As a sophomore (2005): One groundball in 13-6 season-opening win over No. 5 Georgetown (2/26) ... one shot in 16-10 win over UMBC (3/19) ... scored twice, the first goals of his college career, in 21-6 drubbing of Penn (5/7) at Lincoln Financial Field.

As a freshman (2004): Played in four games ... made UM debut in North Carolina homecoming in 17-12 win at No. 16 Duke (3/6) ... first-career assist off 1-of-4 face-off wins in 19-4 rout of Butler (3/23) ... also saw playing time in Bucknell (3/17) and Penn (5/8) games.

Before Maryland: All-American at Riverside High School in Durham, N.C. ... served as a team captain under coach Jim Kirkley ... honored as a first team all-state selection as a senior ... named the team's offensive MVP as a junior and senior ... as a junior, also a first team all-state pick as well ... played in the Dixie Top 150 and Top 205 camps all-star teams ... was a second team all-state pick as a sophomore ... also wrestled in high school.
