On Burman: Serving as one of four team captains along with Mike LaMonica, Mike Morsell and Nate Watkins

As a junior (2001): Played in all 16 games as a man-down defensive specialist
along with graduated Brian Kingsbury, came on to help Maryland's man-down unit to the nation's third best percentage, killing off 77 of 94 opportunities (71.9 percent)
the unit began the year on fire by killing off the first 13 penalties and 27 of 29 penalties without a goal
allowed Duke (3/4) to score just one goal on 16 extra-man chances
scooped up seven groundballs
member of the Maryland Honor Roll.
As a sophomore (2000): Played in five games as a reserve defenseman
saw action in the first three games of the season against Mount St. Marys (2/27), Duke (3/4) and Bucknell (3/7)
corralled first career groundball against Delaware (3/15)
also played vs. UMBC (5/6).
As a freshman (1999): Missed much of freshman season after suffering torn hamstring and a separated shoulder
played in just one game, vs. Providence (2/27).

captained lacrosse team as a senior
named regional all-star and All-Met honorable mention as a senior
