Spring 2012: Competed in all five spring events...had three rounds at or below par...finished second on the team with a 227 (74-75-78) at The Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate to open the spring...finished with a 242 at the General Hackler Championship...carded an 11-over 227 (74-74-79) at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate...at the River Landing Intercollegiate, fired a 4-over 220 (71-74-75)...closed the season with a 2-over 218 (71-69-78) at the ACC Championships, the second-round 69 was his low round of the spring.
Fall 2011: Competed in all five fall tournaments...finished with 72.87 18-hole average, third best for the season...led the Terps with nine rounds at or below par...tied for 32nd at the Maryland Intercollegiate with 5-over 218 (69-75-74)...tied a career-low 68 at the VCU Shootout...carded a 5-over 221 (72-77-72) at the Firestone Invitational...finished tied for seventh with an even-par 216 (72-71-73) tying a career low to help Maryland finish fourth at The Invitational...recorded a 5-over 221 (70-80-71) at the ODU/OBX Collegiate Invitational.
Spring 2011: Competed in all seven events in the spring season...tied for 20th at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate with a 3-over 147...fired a 153 and tied for 16th at the Penn Quaker Invitational...led the Terps with a team-low 217 at the Wolfpack Spring Open...at the ACC Championship, finished second on the team with a 6-over 150...ranked 48th in the ACC with an average score of 74.70.
Fall 2010: Competed in all six fall tournaments for Maryland...helped the Terps finish in sixth with a 5-over 221 (72-76-73)...ended the Rehoboth Beach even at 71...recorded a top-20 finish at the Maryland Intercollegiate with a 4-over 216 (76-69-72).
Spring 2010: Saw action in all seven spring tournaments...earned three top-20 finishes, one in the top-10...best performance was at the Rehoboth Beach Spring Invite...Rice carded a 4-over 146 for seventh place...matched par at River Landing with a 216 (72-73-71), coming in a tie for 19th...also finished in the top-20 at C&F Bank Intercollegiate tying for 19th...carded a career-low round of 68 at the ACC Championship on the second day...concluded the conference tournament 3-over with a 219, tying for 27th...averaged 75.21, ranking top-50 in the ACC.
Fall 2009: Competed in two tournaments for the Terrapins...tied for 49th at the Aldila City Scenic Invitational, his best finish of the fall slate...carded a low round 72 at the tournament...averaged a 76.33.
Spring 2009: Did not play.
Fall 2008: Shot an average of 76.3 over four events... best finish came as a tie for 44th at the VCU Shootout, shooting a consistent 74-73-72--219...low round of the season came at the Xavier Invitational with a 71 in the third round (78-77-71--226).
Before Maryland: First team All-Met in 2007 by The Washington Post...finished regular season match play with 9-2-1 record...tied for second in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Tournament and second in the Washington Private Schools Championship....ranked No. 172 among signees by Golfweek.com...ranked second in the state among Maryland junior players by Golfweek...won the Frank Emmet Schoolboy event with 73-74-75--222 total...captured an IJGT event at Hershey, Pa., in summer of 2007.
