COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland will wear red jerseys and pants, along with black helmets when it plays host to No. 8 Clemson Saturday for Homecoming.

Head coach Randy Edsall made the announcement on his twitter account @RandyEdsall Wednesday evening.

It marks the sixth different uniform combination of the season:

  • Miami - Maryland Pride uniforms
  • West Virginia - Black helmets, black jerseys and black pants
  • Temple - Black helmets, gold pants and black pants
  • Towson - Black helmets, red jerseys and black pants
  • Georgia Tech - Black helmets, black jerseys and gold pants

In August, the Terps unveiled their 32 uniform combinations, which were designed by Under Armour.

The team wore its special occasion Maryland Pride uniforms for the season opener vs. Miami.

Maryland's four team captains - Andrew Gonnella, Davin Meggett, Kenny Tate and Joe Vellano - pick the uniform combination each week with Edsall scheduled to make the announcement each Wednesday.

Saturday's game is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. from Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.
