COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Episode six of Inside Maryland Football, a reality series that gives a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the Maryland football program, airs Saturday, Sept. 29 at 11:00 a.m. on Comcast SportsNet.
Each Saturday, Comcast SportsNet will air new episodes at 11 a.m. The 30-minute show gives a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of a major college football program. Replays of the show will be available on TerpsTV each Wednesday.
This week, Inside Maryland Football profiles fifth-year senior Kenneth Tate, who made his season debut at West Virginia after missing the first three games with a knee injury. Senior offensive lineman Justin Gilbert discusses his emotional return to Morgantown, the site in which he sustained a serious season-ending knee injury during the 2010 season.
Freshman wide receiver and return specialist Stefon Diggs showcases his electrifying performance at then-No. 8 West Virginia, in which he posted three receptions for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns (42-yards and 56-yards) en route to being named the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Week.
This week's episode concludes with head coach Randy Edsall and members of the University of Maryland football team spending the first day of their bye week visiting pediatric patients at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Md.
Maryland (2-2) is on its scheduled bye this week and returns to host Wake Forest in its ACC regular season home opener on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at 3:30 p.m.
