Maryland-FIU Game Time Set
Sept. 13, 2010
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Kickoff for the University of Maryland's home football game against Florida International University on Saturday, Sept. 25 has been set for noon ET.
The Atlantic Coast Conference office made the announcement Monday with the matchup scheduled to air nationally on ESPNU and broadcast on the 15-station Terrapin Sports Radio Network.
The Terrapins (2-0, 0-0 ACC) are traveling to Morgantown, WVa., Saturday to take on the 21st-ranked WVU Mountaineers (2-0, 0-0 BIG EAST). That game will also be telecast on ESPNU.
Maryland and FIU have faced each other twice. The Terps downed the Golden Panthers, 14-10, in 2006 in College Park and then defeated FIU, 26-10, the following season in Miami.
ACC home games are selected on a 12-day option by ESPN/ABC. Four times during the season, ESPN/ABC can choose certain ACC games on a six-day window.
