Important Information on Changes in Football Gameday Parking
In our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible fan experience at the University of Maryland, Maryland Athletics will be implementing several significant changes that will improve traffic and parking for this upcoming football season. The specific changes are as follows: Starting this season, permits will be required for all vehicles parking on campus; With these changes, Maryland Athletics strongly encourages all season ticket holders to join the Terrapin Club at the (minimum) Silver level and purchase a season-long parking permit. The benefits of season-long parking permits include: Terrapin Club members may purchase season-long parking permits at the rate of $10 per game, a 33 percent savings for the season;
All season ticket holders who do not purchase a season-long permit will be automatically mailed a permit to park in a specific zoned area (and required to pay the $15 per game fee at the lot entrance). Fans may request a specific zone and specify the number of Cash permits they require, but specific assignments are not guaranteed. Anyone without a permit - including single-game ticket holders - will be directed to available cash lots, primarily Mowatt Lane Garage. As parking is limited, some fans may have to park at the College Park Metro Station or other off-campus parking lots. Purchasing season-long parking permits will provide you with the best possible fan and tailgating experience at the University of Maryland.
