COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland football team's practice scheduled for Tuesday morning has been postponed due to anticipated poor weather conditions.

The Terrapins, who have conducted nine practices thus far this spring, are slated to return to their on-campus practice facility for their next scheduled session at 10 a.m. Thursday. It has yet to be determined when Tuesday's practice will be rescheduled.

Maryland, which finished the 2008 season with eight wins, including a victory over Nevada in the Roady's Humanitarian Bowl, has two weeks of spring football remaining. The team concludes spring ball with the annual Red-White Spring Game at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium.

Each of the remaining practice sessions is open to the media and general public.
