He first visited the Maryland campus for our first Saturday spring practice. Todd liked our campus, the academic opportunities at Maryland, and felt comfortable with our coaches. He returned to our campus three more times during the spring and summer months. Maryland had everything Todd was looking for in a school, and an early commitment would allow him to put all of his focus into his senior season of football and basketball. Athletically, Todd is everything we are looking for in a tight end. He has the size, aggressiveness, and athleticism to be both an effective blocker and receiver in our passing game. Todd also is the top student in our recruiting class, having a perfect 4.0 GPA and well over a 1300 on the SAT. Todd plans to major in pre-med curriculum at the University of Maryland."
