COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Defensive back Cameron Chism and running back Davin Meggett will represent the Maryland Terrapins later this month at postseason all-star contests

Chism, a three-year starter at cornerback, will play in the AstroTurf NFLPA Collegiate Bowl which is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

The seventh-leading rusher in school history (2,411 yards), Meggett will participate in the East-West Shrine Game which is slated for the same day at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Chism played in 44 career games, including 32 starts at cornerback. The native of Washington, D.C., had 191 career tackles, seven interceptions and 16 pass breakups.

Meggett played in all 50 of Maryland's games over the last four seasons. He had 18 career rushing touchdowns which ties for 11th on the all-time Terrapin list.

The AstroTurf NFLPA Game will kick off at 3 p.m. PST and be shown on the NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus).

The NFL Network will air the East-West Shrine Game at 4 p.m. EST.

Merriman Coat Drive Scheduled for Wednesday: Shawne Merriman's ninth annual coat drive will take place on Wednesday during the men's basketball game with Wake Forest (7 p.m. tip-off). Fans are encouraged to donate any new or gently-used coats, hats, scarves and mittens for distribution to those in need through the local area. Drop-off will take place at Gates A and E inside Comcast Center that night. The former Terp will also be available for an autograph session from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. behind Section 207.
