As a Redshirt Sophomore (2012): Missed the first two games of the season with an injury ... made his 2012 debut starting at safety vs. Connecticut (9/15) ... led the defensive backfield with six tackles (three solo) while helping limit the Huskies to 70 passing yards and 223 yards of total offense ... started against West Virginia (9/22) and had three solo stops ...missed game games against Wake Forest (10/6), Virginia (10/13), NC State (10/20) Boston College (10/27) and Georgia Tech (11/3) with a groin injury ... started and recorded a team leading 10 solo tackles as well as one tackle for loss, a forced fumble and a pass break up against Clemson (11/10) ... started and had five tackles including three tackles and one interception against Florida State (11/17) ... recorded two solo tackles against North Carolina (11/24).
As a Sophomore (2011): Started the first three games at safety along with Eric Franklin ... before his season-ending injury ranked second in the ACC and tied for seventh nationally in tackles per game (12.0) ... earned a redshirt for the season ... notched a then-career-high 10 tackles against Miami (9/5) ... recorded a career-best 13 stops, including 11 solos, against West Virginia (9/17) ... also had a career-high two tackles for loss and two pass breakups ... matched his career high in tackles with a 13-stop effort vs. Temple (9/24).
