CHICAGO - After Day 1 at the NBA's Chicago Draft Camp, Maryland's Lonny Baxter and Byron Mouton both scored in double figures and helped lead their teams to victory.

Mouton, playing for Team 3, scored eight of his 10 points in the first half before fouling out later in the contest. Mouton shot 4 of 8 from the field and played 20 minutes as his team beat Team 4, 88-79.

In the final game of the day, Baxter's Team 6 routed Team 5, 85-68, with the Maryland bruiser leading the way with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Lonny Baxter scored 10 of his 15 points in the second half on Wednesday.

Each team will compete again on Thursday and Friday, playing among six teams of players selected to participate in the three-day camp before NBA scouts and coaches. Maryland guard Juan Dixon and forward Chris Wilcox, both projected as first round picks in the June 26 draft, elected not to participate at this week's camp.
