COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland guard Juan Dixon pulled down his second major first-team All-America citation in as many days on Tuesday, earning recognition as one of the top five players in the country in voting by the United States Basketball Writers Association of America.

Dixon, who was named a first-team All-American Monday by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, was joined on the select USBWA listing by Duke's Jason Williams, Cincinnati's Steve Logan, Kansas' Drew Gooden and Gonzaga's Dan Dickau.

Second-team selections were Sam Clancy (USC), Mike Dunleavy (Duke), Casey Jacobsen (Stanford), Jared Jeffries (Indiana) and David West (Xavier).

Two other Terps were also cited by the USBWA, as senior forward Lonny Baxter joined Dixon on the all-district team and Gary Williams was named district coach of the year.
