BEFORE MARYLAND - Four-star prospect who graded at 95 by ESPN.com... Rated 12th at shooting guard and 36th overall nationally by ESPN... Rated 10th nationally among shooting guards by Rivals.com... Led City to two straight Maryland Class 2A state titles...First team All-Metro by The Baltimore Sun... Averaged 22 points and 6.5 rebounds as a senior for the Knights... Averaged 19.7 points and 5.3 rebounds as a junior... Posesses a "sly athleticism" according to ESPN.com... Also considered Oregon State, Florida State, Marquette and Villanova.

TURGEON ON FAUST - "I'm excited to welcome Nick and his family to the Maryland Basketball family. Nick represents the kind of student-athlete we want to recruit. He is a high-character kid, has tremendous God-given talent and he has worked hard to achieve success in his basketball career... We look forward to helping Nick achieve his dreams on the court and in the classroom as he progresses toward his degree from the University of Maryland. As we looked at our plans for the 2011-12 season, Nick emerged as the key member of the 2011 signing class."

ESPN.COM ON FAUST - "Faust is a long athletic wing that plays with a high level of energy and possesses excellent all-around skill. His size at the shooting-guard position forces matchup problems for opponents, as he has the ability to score behind the arc, from mid-range and at the rim. He handles it well as a secondary ball-handler and because of his feel and basketball I.Q. can even play some point guard when needed. He showed a good understanding of feeding the post and passing to teammates cutting to the basket. He is a versatile defender that can guard all three perimeter spots and also rebounds his position."
