Greivis Vasquez became the 15th Maryland basketball player to earn All-America honors.

Since Bosey Berger first earned national recognition in 1931, through Joe Smith being recognized in 1995 as the National Player of the Year, Maryland’s top players are always among the most respected in the nation.

Tom McMillen (1972-74) and John Lucas (1974-76) stand as the only players to have won All-America honors in three different seasons.
