Baseball Game at Wake Suspended in Top of 10th Inning, Will Resume Tomorrow

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Saturday's baseball game at Wake Forest has been suspended in the top of the 10th inning with the scored tied, 4-4. The contest will resume tomorrow at 1 p.m. followed by the originally-scheduled game 30 minutes following the conclusion of the suspended game.

The Terps led 3-1 through 5 1/2 innings on a two-run single by Chad Durakis (Cockeysville, Md./St. Pauls) and an RBI double by Jensen Pupa (Germantown, Md./Montgomery College).

The Demon Deacons re-took the lead, 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth, but the Terps knotted the game in the top of the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Mike Murphy (Silver Spring, Md./Georgetown Prep).

Maryland starter Ian Schwalenberg (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) pitched five solid innings, allowing three runs on seven hits with four strikeouts.
