Terps Fall to VCU, 7-0

RICHMOND, Va. - Virginia Commonwealth scored four runs in the second inning and went on to defeat the Terps 7-0 this afternoon at The Diamond in Richmond.

The Maryland offense struggled and could muster only four hits against the Rams. Left hander Jamie Hammond pitched 5.2 innings for the Terps, allowing seven runs on 10 hits. Ryan Fleetwood finished the game for Maryland and allowed one hit in 2.1 innings.

With the loss, the Terps fall to 3-6 on the season.
