CHAPEL HILL, N.C.- Freshman lefthander Ryan Snare struck out 11 and allowed just two hits as he stifled the Maryland Terrapins, 10-0, Friday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. The game was the first of a three game seies. The Terrapins drop to 4-7 with the loss, while UNC improves to 11-4.

Brandon Agamennome gets the loss and his record drops to 1-2. He had just two hits to work with, Scott Bronowicz and Jason Schlegel both went 1-for-3. The Terrapins continue on with game two Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
